1467-1477. French hammered silver coin. Charles the Bold, Duke of Burgundy, double patard. Length 25.4mm, Width 20.8mm, Thickness 0.8mm, Diameter 25.4mm, Weight 1.8g. Obverse: Coat of Arms with three fleur-de-lys in top left and lower right section. Inscription: []VR(U)E[]. Reverse: Cross of Fleuronee. Inscription: []HEDIC[]. Die Axis: 180 deg.or 6 o'clock. Broken coin with approximately a quarter of the coin missing also badly cracked across the middle and fairly heavily clipped. Worn, with variable silver and grey coloured tarnish and some rusty brown stains.

1433-1477. Silver alloy, hammered 'Charles The Bold, Duke of Burgundy' Double Patard coin. Length 12.9mm, Width 9.8mm, Thickness 0.6mm, Weight 0.4g. Very small and less than a quarter of the orginal coin. Roughly triangular shape. Obverse: Extreme wear with the odd letter of the legend and one side of a probable shield of France just visible. Reverse: Extreme wear with probable terminal of a cross fleuretty and four letters from the legend visible. Some light clipping.
