Obverse: Moulded 'spider web' design with a relatively large central pellet or 'spider' in the centre. Little wear but some minor damage probably by the plough to the flan at one point and the back, otherwise a pale grey patina. Ref. They are difficult to date closely but those with initials are thought to be Post Medieval in date.
