Both above and below the initials is a five-pointed star with a pellet to either side. Post medieval token; Struck copper alloy trade token of probable 17th or 18th century date. The token is very worn but seems to have a heraldic shield on one face, surrounded by the inscription IOHN:WILL[…]S with a five-pointed star initial mark. The shield seems to have a chevron across the middle, with three symbols (arranged in a triangle) below and a band across the top which may represent crenellations. The other face has an inner circle with three stars, also arranged in a triangle. The inscription reads B[…]SFEILD (sic). Diameter 19.5mm, thickness 1.0mm, weight 2.16g
