A cast copper alloy coin weight of Post-Medieval date. It is square in shape with bevelled edges and extensive parallel toolmakrs on both front and back faces. The front face depicts a ship with tall mast within an inner circle. The ship appears to have a rose at the centre of the hull, which would indicate the weight's usage for weighing whole and fractional denominations of the Ryal. The weight measures 15.30mm in width, 14.94mm in length, 4.70mm in thickness, and weighs 7.44g (or 114.81 grains).
