A medieval silver coin; a continental copy of an English sterling silver penny (a pollard), struck for Guy de Dampierre, Marquis of Namur and Count of Flanders, 1280-1305. It is 18.8mm in diameter and 0.7mm thick. It weighs 1.02gm. See Mayhew, number 16 and Withers' data on Continental sterling imitations (unpublished).
