A very worn bent Medieval silver half real coin, turned love token of Ferdinand and Isabella (1469-1502 AD). Although very worn, the obverse appears to have the 'Yoke of Aragon' the symbol of Ferdinand, while the reverse carries Isabella's mark, the Arrows of Castile. The legend is very worn legends and cannot be determined.

A Medieval silver Double Patard of Charles the Bold (Duke of Burgundy) circa 1467-77. A slightly clipped and plough damaged coin, scuffed on both faces. Obverse : Burgundy coat of arms on large shield with the inscription +KAROLVS : D ( ) GRA : DVX :BVRG : CO : FLA Reverse : cross with quarterfoil and lis in centre. Large ornate lis on end of each cross arm. Inscription : + SIT : NOMEN : DOMINI : BENEDICTVM Was made legal tender in England in 1469 and circulated as fourpence (groat)

A silver struck Medieval double patard of Charles the Bold, Duke of Burgundy. It is clipped, missing the upper half of the both legends. It dates between 1467-1477. It measures 23.5 mm DIA x 2.2 g. In 1469, following an agreement made between Edward IV and Charles the Bold, these coins were made legal tender in England and remained so for over 60 years afterwards; they crop up in hoards (in steadily declining numbers) until well into Henry VIII's reign.
