Post medieval token; Struck copper alloy token of probable 17th or 18th century date. One side has a square design within the centre circle and seems to read ‘[…]RODSHI[…]CHO’. The other side reads ‘NR’ within the centre circle, with a star above and below. It seems to read ‘*IN[…]CO[…]E’ around the outer ring. The token has been pierced with a small, circular hole near to the edge.

Copper alloy Nuremberg jetton of Hans Krauwinckel II (master 1586 d. 1635). The obverse of the jetton shows three crowns with three lis between, and a rose in the centre. The obverse inscription is: HANNS KRAVWINCKEL IN NVR. The reverse shows an orb in a three-arched tressure with angles at each joint. The reverse inscription is probably GOTES REICH BLIBT EWICK, meaning 'God's kingdom (realm) remains eternal'. This matches Mitchner 1540.

A Post Medieval copper alloy coin: a struck coin (probably a paisa) of the Indian Princely State of Baroda. It features the 'scimitar' or curved sword used on much of the later coinage of Baroda. Critically, above the scimitar, is the Nagari script for 'kha ga' which occurs on the coins of Khande Rao who ruled Baroda AD 1856-1870. For a better preserved example see

Post Medieval silver 8 Reales coin dating to 1689. The 8 Real was often referred to as a 'piece of eight' and has long been popularly associated with Pirates in literature and films.
