A copper alloy, French jetton, dating to the medieval period. The obverse depicts a heater-shield containing three fleur-de-lis’ and topped by a crown. The surrounding legend reads +AVE MARIA GRACIA (Hail Mary full of grace) and is marked by a cross pattee initial mark. The reverse depicts a long cross of three strands fleur-de-lis’ with a quatrefoil in the centre, enclosed by four arches. There is no reverse inscription. A parallel can be seen in Barnard, p118, plate VI, no.43.

A copper alloy Post-medieval jetton. It has been folded round to create a tube. The outside is worn smooth, and what little can be determined from the inside suggests the typical trefoil shape surrounding the crowns and lis found upon a Nuremburg jetton of the sixteenth century.

A copper alloy Post-Medieval jetton. It is probably a small size Nuremburg token, and is folded in half. It is extremely worn but traces of the three lis and three crowns which are common on the rose-orb jettons can be seen. The jetton measures 19.08mm in diameter and weighs 0.63g. It dates to the sixteenth century, 1500-1580 AD.
