Copper-alloy jetton. Nuremburg issue. Arpad Tatar kindly suggests the following reading, amending an initial essay by this reporter which did particular violence to the obverse legend. Arpad notes that: 'The N must be read twice- as the first letter for Nürnberg'. His corrections are incorporated below.

An Early Post-Medieval copper alloy Nuremberg jetton of Wolfgang Laufer I, Master 1554-1601. It measures 21mm in diameter and is slightly worn and bent. All stops are voided quatrefoils.
