A copper alloy hammered probable coin dating to the Post Medieval period, about 1603-1649: probably one of the smaller issue farthings of James I (1603-1625) or Charles I (1625-1649). However, it is only the size and form of the coin which suggests such an identification; it is illegible. The coin has a diameter of 13.66mm, a thickness of 0.73mm, and weighs 0.42g.

Copper alloy possible coin. If a coin, probably a hammered farthing of James I (1603-1625) or Charles I (1625-1649); such lettering as appears does not seem tidy enough for this to be a slightly later private halfpenny. Obverse description: worn and creased, trace of inscription only… Obverse inscription: [---]O.D:G:[---] Reverse description: worn and creased, trace of inscription only Reverse inscription: [--]E[--] Diameter: 16mm, Weight: 0.37gms
