A damaged and incomplete medieval silver halfgroat, probably of Henry V (1413-22), Class F (North 1392), mint: London, initial mark: cross pattée. Ref: North 1991: 71.
Obverse description: Crowned bust facing within a tressure of arches, possible annulet to right of crown, possibly mullet on breast
The coin is in poor condition, badly scratched on the obverse (this appears to be post-depositional) and badly chipped around the edges in places.
