Silver long cross penny of Edward II (1307-1327), Class 11a2 (1311-1312). The diagnostic feature which points to Class 11 is the left ornament in the bifoliate crown, which is broken, while the ornament on the right is a spearhead, and the Class is 11a with closed and round-backed C and E (Withers, 2006, pp.38-39) and Class 11a2 with scroll-tailed R and larger lettering. The mint is London.
