A very worn and damaged gold quarter noble of Edward III. Approximately one third of the flan is missing along with the corresponding legend. The coin is no longer flat and has a distinctive curvature. This is a Pre-treaty version dating to 1351-61, fourth coinage. (Spink 1495)
