White metal with silver wash
Coin, possibly a contemporary forgery (as noted by finder, though weight is apt), imitating Canterbury Mint, probably imitating Class 10ab Penny, issued under Edward I (1272-1307) or Edward II (1307-1327).
Obverse description: Bifoliate crown of Class 10 onwards, possibly low crown of Class 10ab, drapery of two wedges, initial cross pattee, indicating Classes 6b, 8, 9a2-15d.
