A sterling penny of the Berwick mint Class IV b, 1300-1310, Edward I or II (North 1975, 29, no 1079).
Coins of the Berwick-Upon-Tweed mint which operated under English control during 1296-1318 and 1333-1344, covering the reigns of Edward I,II,III, do not correspond exactly with the issues of other English mints of these periods as the dies were not normally issued offically but were made locally.
