The finder kindly notes he would view this coin as a mule between an obverse of Edward I class 10ab3(a) and a reverse of class 9b, identifying the letter denoted [?] below as an extra R, and he therefore suggests a slightly earlier date for the coin; if the reverse were considered to date the coin, this could as early as 1300.
