A Medieval silver long cross penny, possibly Edward III, king facing forward. The coin has become very worn and the obverse is almost entirely worn away with exception to the top section. The reverse is clearer with only half the coin worn and a visible quatrefoil in center and three pellets in four segments. The legend, although slightly cleaner is still not readable. A half-cut completely corroded Medieval silver coin possibly of the Edward I-III period. Both the obverse and reverse are completely blackened with corrosion. the letters "EX" (likely [R]EX) are the only letters on the obverse that are still barely visible. The reverse has two remaining quaters with three pellets inside each. The legend is fully worn out.
