A Medieval silver coin; a penny of Edward I (AD 1272- 1307), Class 1-9 with a trifoliate crown, dating from AD 1279 - 1300. The coin is bent, has pieces missing and is very worn. A possible nice in the band of the crown may suggest it is Class 4. The coin is 17.8mm diameter, 0.5mm thick and 0.75g.
