A medieval silver penny of Edward I (AD 1272 - 1307), dating to c. AD 1280 - 1281. Class 3g, North 1022. Obverse shows +EDWR' ANGL' DNS [HYB]. Within there is a facing small and narrow crowned bust, the crown side-fleurs being widely spaced. Reverse depicts CIVI/TAS/[LO]N/DON, long cross fourchee dividing legend, with three pellets in each quarter. There is a piece of the coin missing from the 10-11 o'clock position when viewed from the obverse side. Diameter 18 mm and weight 1.13 g.

A medieval, silver halfpenny of Edward III. Description: The coin has been severely clipped and also sustained some post-depositional damage so is very reduced in size and weight. It is also very worn but the detail of the bust that is visible shows a small face with sunken eyes. There is also a star visible at the end of the obverse legend confirming this as a halfpenny of Edward III's star-marked coinage of 1335-1343. It is most probably a Withers Type 5. Measurements: Diameter: 12.50mm: Thickness 0.64mm: Weight 0.43g.

A broken and worn Medieval silver long-cross penny probably of Edward I (AD 1272-1307). The obverse shows crowned head facing with the top and right hand part of the head now mostly missing. The obverse legend reads [...]NGL' DNS hY[.]. There is a large comma-shaped contraction mark after the L in NGL. The S in DNS is top-tilted and the letter h has a notch in its tail which would lead to the coin being Class 8b or 8c. There is no visible initial mark. The obverse inscription is not clear and may be M:OV. The decoration shows four swags some ending in a fleur-de-lis shape. Above this decoration is the shape of a face showing the mouth, nose and eyes. The diameter is 14 mm and it weighs .85 g.

There are both rounded-backed and pointed-backed C's and E's, a crosier at the end of one arm of the reverse cross (at 12 o'clock) and a CIVI/TAS/DVN/ELM reverse legend. Measurements: Diameter 18.16mm Weight 1.06g. Discussion: The different styles of C and E indicate that this is a mule of a class 11b1 obverse with an 11a2 reverse.

A fragment of a struck or hammered Silver penny of Edward III (Reigned 1327-1377), minted in Durham with crozier on an arm of a cross. The obverse has "LI F (reversed)" written across the legend but the rest is either illegible or missing. The reverse shows a crozier dividing the legend, with the letters "IE" on the left side and "CI" on the right side. The coin is 10.2mm wide, 14.3mm long, 0.8mm thick and weighs 0.45g. The surface is black from corrosion of the silver and some of the lettering that remains is illegible.
