A misstruck Medieval silver long cross penny of Edward I (r.AD 1272 -1307). MInted at Canterbury, c.1305-1306, probably class 10cf1. The coin has been hevily misstruck and may also show die errors, with the obverse legend reading 'NS hWA R ANGL DNS hYB'. Many of the letters show ghost or shadows of other letter behind them. Drapery of the obverse legend is irregular also. Reverse presents with similar errors as well as some letters overlying the long cross arm. This leaves the inscription on the reverse now reading 'CIVI/C_A_CAN/TOR' Measurements: Diameter: 18.06mm, thickness: 0.68mm…
