An apparently complete Neolithic to Iron Age stone saddle quern (4000 BC-AD 42) This quern is made of limestone and is probably local Bembridge Limestone or Quarr Stone. It is sub-square in plan and sub-rectangular in cross-section. The underside is uneven and worn in places and the centre of the upper face is dished forming a grinding surface. The edges of the upper face have been deliberately smoothed or worn. One end is partially flat and smooth and may have been deliberately formed as such. Undiagnostic gold object of unknown date. Treasure case no. 2013 T823 (not Treasure). Three pieces of gold wire soldered together longitudinally with 'punched' marks along the joins. Dimensions: 31.24 (length); 3.62 (width); 3.18mm (thickness). Weight: 3.29g. Analysis: Non-destructive X-ray fluorescence analysis of the surface a triple-strand wire fragment from Arreton, The Isle of Wight, indicated a surface composition of approximately 72-74% gold, 25-27 % silver and approximately 1% copper.

An unidentified gold object of Unknown date. The object consists of one circular and one sub-circular free-running rings linked together. Both rings are hollow. The larger ring has an external diameter of 16.5mm and an internal diameter of 7.2mm. It is 4.1mm in width. Two incomplete cast copper alloy unidentified objects of Unknown date. Each piece is of similar form and is probably parts of one object. In plan each has a curving profile with an incomplete integral projecting element on the inner face of the curves. They have a flat upper and lower face with convex edges. Both pieces are corroded and have bronze disease. A mid-green patina survives in places and each piece has an old break at each end. Larger piece: 48.6 x 8.9 x 4.9mm. Weight: 7.07g. Smaller piece: 40.1 x 15.0 x 4.9mm. Weight: 5.61g.
