The object is mainly flat on both faces and just over half its length it is semi-circular in plan. The remaining part, an extension along the straight edge, is roughly square in cross-section and measures c. 4.0mm x c. 4.0mm. This extension terminates with a right angled bend where there is a break. The object is corroded and bright green. Length: 42.0mm; width: 14.6mm; thickness: 3.7mm; thickness including bend: 6.4mm. At one end there are the remains of an eye or loop and the opposite end has a transverse break. It has a uniform thickness throughout its length but its width tapers. At the eye, the width is 3.4mm and at the break it has a width of 2.0mm. The object has a green patina and the breaks are old.
