A ceramic body sherd of Unknown date, possibly Roman or Medieval.
The outer face is brown and slightly undulating, the inner face and core are dark grey. It has been tempered with crushed flint and small complete sea shells. The shells are of similar size and each now has the apex missing.
One break is abraded and the other three are possibly recent.
Found within the inter-tidal zone.

Two ceramic coarse ware body sherds of Unknown date.
Surface finds in sand and silt in the inter-tidal zone.
The fabric of both sherds is densely tempered with angular flint. One sherd is buff/grey throughout and the other sherd is pale orange. However, the tempering is similar.
Sherd 1: sub-triangular in plan, 55.9 x 40.9 x 6.9mm. Weight: 16.19g.
Sherd 2: sub-oval in plan, 45.9 x 39.5 x 7.6mm. Weight: 16.93g.

A surface find in sand and silt in the inter-tidal zone.
The fabric is dark grey on the outer surface and reddish yellow (Munsell Colour 5YR 6/6) on the inner surface and has a medium grey core. It is sparsely tempered with angular flint and occasional pieces of rounded flint. The breaks are old and abraded. Part of the rim is flat and the shoulder is angled.

The sherd is medium grey on the outer surface and the colour varies from yellowish red to light grey on the inner surface. It is generously tempered with a white substance, possibly chalk or shell. The core is dark grey and the breaks appear to be quite fresh.
