Unknown object of unknown age. Possibly a lead alloy buckle fragment. It consists of two coterminous fragments decorated with moulded tranverse ridges. There is also a possibility that it is related to brooch making. Combined measurements are length 37mm, width 42mm and weight 20.09g. First, this may be a trial piece or model of Roman date, or possibly a symbolic replacement for a brooch.
