A complete discoidal lead weight of possible Roman to post-medieval date. Both faces are decorated with stamped circles in an irregular arrangement and there is an off-centre hole running from one face to the other. Weights of this form were in use for a long period of time, from the Roman to post-medieval periods with little variation in form.Tthey are difficult to date more closely when the form and decoration off few clues about date. Length: 28.63mm, width: 26.77mm, thickness: 7.02mm, weight: 35.24g

A complete lead weight of Roman to post-medieval date. It is discoidal in shape with rounded sides and slightly concave surfaces. One face has the number VIII inscribed in the centre with two stars above it and a circle formed from a wavy line below. The other face has an irregular recess in its centre, roughly in the shape of a leaf, with a transverse groove across its centre. The surface of the weight is heavily worn with many scratch marks.
