A cast copper-alloy bead of Bronze Age or later date. It is biconical in form with flattened top and bottom, and raised ribs or collars around a central circular perforation. The surfaces have the remains of a very worn dark green patina as well as large areas of active copper-alloy corrosion. One side of the perforation is slightly flattened, perhaps as a result of manufacture or use wear. Approximately three quarters of the object survives, the remainder missing due to old breaks. It is a pale yellow/orange in colour and measures 3.82mm in diameter by 2.01mm in height. This bead or inlay is of uncertain date, however given the associated objects might potentially date to the Early-Medieval period.
