Possible casting waste of unknown date: The copper alloy waste is an irregular shape in plan and has predominately broken edges, but the small portion of the possible genuine edge is obliquely angled in profile and has rounded upper and lower edges. The upper face of the waste is flat, smooth but has a transverse, wide semi-oval ridge. The base of the artefact is slightly rough. The surface of the waste has a mid green/brown/grey coloured patina. The waste weighs 178.12g and measures 66.42mm long, 45.76mm wide and 22.08mm thick.
