The faces are uneven, and most have a stepped termination scar. One end of the blade is much narrower and thinner. A flint probable knife of uncertain date, Mesolithic to early Bronze Age, 10000 BC - 1000 BC. It is a large tertiary flake of mottled light grey flint which is roughly rectangular, with the right distal corner curved and the left distal corner extending into a slight point. The curved right edge is retouched from the dorsal face with short, low-angle sub-parallel removals. The distal end has similar retouch, and the left side is retouched in the same way but from the ventral face. There are scars of glue on the reverse where the flint has previously been mounted on cardboard.…

A waterworn and polished stone that may have been used as whetstone or hone stone, at an unknown date. The stone is broadly rectangular in pln and cross-section, though it is taller at one end, and that thcker end then tapers to a rounded point. The top and one side are flattened and there are faint striations, suggesting the stone may have been used. The other side is rougher and is probably natural. The base is smooth but undulating with some visible striations. The stone is fine textured and homogenous apart from the rougher face which has apparent inclusions of harder material that…
