Decorated copper alloy plate length 23mm, width 14mm, thickness 1mm, weight 1.02g. This is a decorated fragment from an unknown object. the decoration is incised and consists of two ring and dot motifs at the top which flank two lines running down the centre, these have a series of crescent and dot in the top half. On the bottom section of the plate are two feathers. Beaded borders run down either side and point to the decoration continuing in all directions. This method of decoration is know from the Iron Age through to the Medieval Period, although Early Medieval maybe the most possible.
