A Copper alloy ring of uncertain function, probably dating to the Bronze Age to Early Roman period, c. 2400 BC - AD 100. The ring has a sub-circular frame and flat sub-oval cross section, there are no obvious signs of wear. It has a grey-green patina. Diameter: 22.3mm; Thickness: 4.3mm; Weight: 5.90g It is difficult to parallel such an undiagnostic find, it was possibly part of a horse harness.
