A Copper alloy ring of uncertain function, probably dating to the Bronze Age to Early Roman period, c. 2400 BC - AD 100. The ring has a sub-circular frame and flat sub-oval cross section, there are no obvious signs of wear. It has a grey-green patina.

A possibly Medieval lead weight of an unknown date. The weight would once have been conical in shape, but has been cut down the centre, possibly to check how deep the suspension loop hole had been cast. further attempts at cutting the weight can be seen through a further two incisions made to one side. The weight has a white patina and is heavily pitted.

A piece of casting waste from the join between two sides of a mould or a casting run off. A rectangular wedge shape with a triangular cross section. Both sides are smooth and seem composed of runs of metal with a clear ridge down the centre form the mould joint.

An undiagnostic gold fragment of uncertain date. The fragment is sub-rectangular in plan and rectangular in section both sides appear to have been hammered/worked. The short ends both appear to have been cut. No decoration is present on either the obverse or the reverse of the sheet.
Length 22.2 mm, width 7.5 mm, thickness 1.2 mm and weight: 2.29 g.
This find has since been assessed by a relevant specialist. In their opinion the object is undiagnostic and cannot be securely dated to pre-1720, and therefore it falls outside the provisions of the Treasure Act 1996.

A Roman to Medieval lead alloy vessel repair/pot mend, dating to AD 43 - 1500. It consists of two sub oval plugs sandwiched together, one of the plugs is domed. The vessel may have been thin walled and no ceramic fragment or other diagnostic material remains. Due to the absence of any surviving pottery, it is hard to determine whether this vessel repair is Roman or later in dating, as the same method of repairing ceramic vessels was practised during both periods.

A cast lead alloy representation of a human index finger of uncertain date. The artefact is realised in three dimensions and is broadly conical (D shaped) in plan and oval in cross section. It represents the tip of the index finger being cut off above the first knuckle. It is formed in three dimensions with a clearly delineated nail, cuticle and finger. On the lower edge of the front face is a additional irregular piece of lead which masks the lower left area. The underside is oval in shape. There is a little damage from abrasion in the soil.

An iron axehead of an uncertain date, dating to c.AD 800 - 1500. The axehead is triangular in plan and profile. The socket is sub-triangular in shape with a rectangular-shaped butt. The axehead tapers slightly before widening to a flared crescentic blade. The axehead has a mid orange patina with brown mottles.
