The vessel may have been thin walled and no ceramic fragment or other diagnostic material remains. Due to the absence of any surviving pottery, it is hard to determine whether this vessel repair is Roman or later in dating, as the same method of repairing ceramic vessels was practised during both periods. An iron axehead of an uncertain date, dating to c.AD 800 - 1500. The axehead is triangular in plan and profile. The socket is sub-triangular in shape with a rectangular-shaped butt. The axehead tapers slightly before widening to a flared crescentic blade. The axehead has a mid orange patina with brown mottles. Length: 185 mm Weight: 109.21 Thickness: 41.42 mm Weight: 915 g The axehead appears to fit with Petersen Type G (Wheeler Type IV), a more direct date cannot be attributed as this type of axehead was used from the Early Medieval period through to the late Medieval.

It has been suggested that the object could be the foot of a larger object.

The outer surface of the bead has a silvery appearance. Diameter: 9.45 mm Perforation diameter: 4.08 mm Width: 6.26 mm Weight: 2.23 g This bead was found close to LEIC-4E8C39 an Early Medieval glass bead. This bead could possibly be of a similar date, but shows no diagnostic features.

A cast lead alloy representation of a human index finger of uncertain date. The artefact is realised in three dimensions and is broadly conical (D shaped) in plan and oval in cross section. It represents the tip of the index finger being cut off above the first knuckle. It is formed in three dimensions with a clearly delineated nail, cuticle and finger. On the lower edge of the front face is a additional irregular piece of lead which masks the lower left area. The underside is oval in shape. There is a little damage from abrasion in the soil.
