Unidentified and undated object made from cast copper alloy and iron. The object has a hollow, plano-convex section with an iron core. Iron corrosion products are also present on the object's flat back. The main part of the object appears to have been parallel sided but has been damaged and truncated, resulting in the loss of most of what much have been a D shaped socket which contained iron. The other end of the object is narrowed and constists of a transverse moulding from which extends an expanding projection. This has angled faces and terminates in a transverse fracture. Detail of…

Iron object in the form of a wing-shaped plate, it corners swept back and its underside slightly concave. On the top of the plate is what looks like a swept back fin. The function and date of this object are unknown but in view of the other material coming from the immediate area it is considered to be worthy of record.
