A lead alloy possible steel-yard weight of unknown date.  Weights such as these were in use from Roman to the Post Medieval period (i.e. 43-1800AD). The object weight is sub-conical in shape.  The bottom has a roughly hexagonal indentation in the base. At the top of the weight there is a broken iron shaft protruding from the centre.  Iron within a lead alloy weight often occurs with steel yard weights. The weight has a powdery white/grey patina; the iron is corroded Measurements: Height: 45.5mm; Diameter: 34.0mm; Weight: 231g

Circular lead weight dating from the Roman to the Post-Medieval period, (43-1700). The object is circular in plan and trapezoidal in cross-section. One face is stamped with the Roman numeral I, flanked by two dots; the other face is undecorated. The object has a white patina. Diameter: 20.9mm; thickness: 8.7mm; weight: 25.4g

Fragment of copper alloy of unknown date; possibly an ingot or production waste.The object is sub rectangular in plan and section.Both ends are bevelled and have clearly been cut. On the upper and lower surfaces there is a diamond-shaped impression with, what appears to be cross marks.It is possible that these are grip marks from a tool rather than deliberate stamped marks. This is one of two objects found together - see WREX-B0913D. Length: 74.73mm; width: 14.85mm; thickness: 14.7mm; weight: 82g.
