A copper alloy ring with hexagonal cross section and slightly uneven thickness and width of unknown date. The exterior edge of the object has a slightly hexagonal plan, with two straightened parallel edges, one of which corresponding with internal wear. The object is undecorated but has prominent striations from filing in some places. Dimensions: length 30.4mm; width 28.9mm; thickness 3.1mm; weight 5.37g. Such rings are largely undatable and can be as early as Iron Age, but it is most likely a Medieval to Post-Medieval horse harness ring, possibly to link two straps given its …
