An unidentified Lead alloy object, probably of fairly recent date, but potentially older, c. AD 1400-1900. The object is incomplete, comprising of a lead alloy disc with a single surviving attachment loop. The disc is decorated, all deeply incised, with a robed figure on horseback within a circular border. The border appears to have been used as a guide to cut away much of the original circumference, with, by the orientation of the decoration, between 2 and 9 o'clock missing. A copper alloy ring with hexagonal cross section and slightly uneven thickness and width of unknown date. The exterior edge of the object has a slightly hexagonal plan, with two straightened parallel edges, one of which corresponding with internal wear. The object is undecorated but has prominent striations from filing in some places. Dimensions: length 30.4mm; width 28.9mm; thickness 3.1mm; weight 5.37g. A Lead weight of unknown date, c. AD 1200-1850. The weight is circular in plan and flat in cross section, with the upper face having a rounded edge. The weight is marked with a central, small, equal armed cross which stands slightly proud of the incuse circular field that it sits within. The cross is surrounded by four pellets, with one in each corner but all outside of the field. The reverse is plain. Dimensions: diameter 36.8mm; thickness 6.7mm; weight 41.14g.
