Lead pot mend with sub-oval plates, 36.5mm x 30.5mm and 31.2 x 25.2mm. Thickness 15mm. Gap for pot 1 - 5.5mm. No trace of fabric visible between plates. Possibly Roman.
Pot mends of this form occur in both Roman and medieval contexts and it is not possible to assign a date without traces of ceramic fabric.

Conical lead weight of uncertain date. The base is uneven and has an upwards-curled lip runnig around the circumference. Projecting from the top is an iron shank or loop, teminating in an old break and now heavily corroded.
Weights can be difficult to date outside of a stratified context due to the fact that they are generally utilitarian objects and forms do not vary significantly over time.
