There are no visible test marks. Dimensions: 32mm (l) x 10.5-14mm (w) x 6mm (th) Weight: 17g Discussion: Although the D-shaped section is often found on ingots from the Viking Age, this is relatively shallow in proportion to its width by Viking standards. A warped silver ingot of uncertain date . Description: Roughly shaped bar, part melted. The shape is undiagnostic, and there are no visible test marks. Dimensions: Length 20.4mm, weight 3.27g Discussion: The shape is not diagnostic, and given its crude form and partially melted state, it appears more likely to relate to metal-working than to a bullion economy. The weight does not appear to relate to a recorded weight system, and it lacks any characteristic test marks.
