Two ovoid lead pot-mends of Roman to Post-Medieval date (AD 43-1800). Each carries a small piece of earthenware, possibly Roman greyware, but not enough survives to be certain. Both have one flatter face and one domed face. They measure and weigh 31.99x27.01x9.81mm and 44.3g; 22.07x17.08x9.02mm and 13.7g. Unfortunately such repairs are not diagnostic; a wide date range is therefore offered.

The fabric is sandy with medium-sized inclusions, mostly eroded out. If intentionally cut, possibly for use as a gaming piece.
