A copper alloy possible nail of uncertain date. The object appears to be complete and resembles a nail that has been bent out of shape. It has a broadly cylindrical shaft (3.7mm in diameter) that tapers at one end to a blunt point. At the other end it has a triangular terminal, which is rectangular in cross-section. The terminal measures 3.9mm long, 8.0mm wide and 4.2mm thick. Unbent the object would have measured c.30mm long. Overall, in its current state, it measures 17.6mm long, 18.5mm wide and 11.4mm thick. It weighs 3.21g.
