A lead Roman to medieval (AD c.43-c.1500) spindle whorl. Overall, the spindle whorl measures 32.1mm in diameter and 7.2mm thick. it weighs 42.77g. The spindle whorl is broadly circular and mostly flat with rounded outer edges. There is an off-centre circular perforation through it, measuring 11.9mm in diameter.
