A heavily eroded and corroded silver coin like disc of uncertain date - the find is thicker than a milled coin and looks as if it has been struck rather than milled. It is also thicker than conventional medieval and post medieval struck / hammered coins (based on its relevant size). Therefore, it is possibly a debased Roman coin of some sort. It has been found close to an area of Roman denarii Diameter: 17.5mm Thickness 1.0mm Weight 1.16 grams

A small silver disc - possibly a coin blank of uncertain date. Although without parallel the disc is recorded due to its findspot. One side is domed whilst the other is very slightly dished. Both sides are marked, but no discernible pattern is present. The finder has commented on the similarity between this and small silver units from the late Iron Age. Such a find would fit well within the landscape in which it was found. The disc measures 8.6mm diameter, is 2.8mm thick and weighs 0.9 grams
