An incomplete cast copper alloy mount of uncertain date. The mount is circular in plan though much of it is now broken away. The face of the mount is very worn obscuring any decoration which may once have been present. On the reverse a small stub is present which would once have been used for attachment. The metal is a mid reddish-brown colour and is worn. The mount is 18mm in diameter, 1.8mm thick and weighs 1.3g. Due to the lack of any diagnostic features and the loss of patination it is not possible to date this object any more closely.
