The weight is sub conical, with a single vertical hole positioned off centre. It has an internal diameter of 10.3 mm. The sides are uneven It has a height of 21.4 mm and a diameter (at the base) of 28.4 mm. The thickness of the walls at the top of the weight are 6.7 mm. It weighs 76.0 g (2.68 oz). An incomplete lead or lead alloy flat spindle whorl, of Roman to Post Medieval dating (AD 43 - AD 1650). The spindle whorl is sub circular in shape, and rectangular in cross section. The central hole is sub circular in shape and has been cast slightly off central. The internal diameter of the hole measures 9.8 mm wide. Both upper and lower faces bear no trace of decoration. The whorl has a diameter of 29.5 mm and is 6.5 mm thick. It weighs 35.2 g (1.24 oz). The whorl is of a light to mid grey colour, with an even surface patina. An incomplete probable casting jet from lead casting, of uncertain dating (2350 BC to AD 1800). The casting jet is conical in shape. The top surface is sub oval in shape, with a rounded edge, and a concaved surface. Below this, the jet narrows to a point, with slightly facetted sides. It measures 19.4 mm in length, 28.2 mm wide and 22.4 mm thick. It weighs 35.7 g. The casting jet is a mid to dark green colour, with an uneven surface patina. It broadly resembles a dumb-bell or yo yo shape. The recess between the two ends measures 6.5 mm wide and 5.9 mm deep. It has a diameter of 38.5 mm and is 26.0 mm thick. It weighs 208 g (7.3 oz). The weight is an off white colour, with an even surface patina. No parallels to this weight have been found at the time of recording. An incomplete copper alloy unidentified object, of unknown dating (0 to AD 1900). The object is irregular in shape. It consists of a rectangular sectioned bar with a curved hook at the end. The otherr end exhibits an elaborate moulding, possibly similar to that of a Phrygian hat. An sub oval collar sits beneath the elaborate moulding and the rectangular sectioned bar.
