Silver ring, possibly a finger ring. The band is wide, undecorated and has an inward facing D-shaped cross section. The fact that the ring has a convex internal surface suggests that it may not be a finger ring.
Undiagnostic Description: silver band, probably a fitting, with undecorated surface. The interior of the fitting is convex, indicating that this is indeed a fitting rather than a finger-ring. Discussion: There are no diagnostic features to the fitting, therefore it is not possible to conclusively date the fitting.

A probable strap-fitting of probably either Roman or post-medieval date. It consists of a broadly rectangular plate from one end of which emerges a T-shaped bar. The plate slightly and gradually tapers to a terminal at the other end in the form of a fleur-de-lis. The lis has a rounded central lobe with two smaller, connected side lobes below. Below these latter are two thin rounded lobes angled diagonally downwards, their bases delineated by incised lines. On the upper surface of the plate is decorated with an incised line around the other three edges. At each end of the plate is an i…

Fragment of gold ingot. A segment of a bar or strip of gold. The piece is angular and tapers in one direction in terms of thickness (from 3.81 mm to 1.51 mm) and tapers in the opposite direction in its width (8.18 mm to 6.55 mm). The break at the thinner, wider end appears to be the result of a cut. The surface all have slight ripples and marks.
