A Roman cast copper-alloy pin head (43-410 AD). The head is polyhedral in form (a cuboid with the corners cut off), rectangular in section and has thirteen faces. None of the faces are decorated. A small portion of the shaft is circular in cross-section and there is no collar between the head and shaft. Polyhedral pins are dated to both to the Roman and Early Medieval periods.
