Three locally produced, wheel thrown, fine light red gritty ware, Roman pottery sherds possibly Severn Valley Ware dating between c43 and c410 AD. The first body sherd measures 21mm in length, 17mm in width, 3mm in thickness and weighs 1.1grms. The second body sherd, with start of a lip or rim, with remnants of black burnishing to exterior measures 25mm in length, 20mm in width, 6mm in thickness and weighs 4.7grms. The third base sherd measures 27mm in length, 23mm in width, 8mm in thickness and weighs 5.3grms.

Romano British cast copper alloy brooch fragment dating between c43 and c150 AD. It consists of the catch plate and a third of the bow but the rest of the brooch is missing. Could be from any of a number of brooches from a La Tene III - Nauheim derivative to an early British trumpet [eg Collingwood's Group R (iv)] brooch. The length is 29mm, width 9mm.

Roman copper alloy brooch dating to between c43 and c55 AD. It is a Hod Hill Class A (Collingwoods Group P), similar to Hattatt type 49 (page 90, fig 34). The pin is missing and the body mis-shapen. The head of the brooch is rolled over and separated into two sections by a rounded slot in the centre which would have accommodated the pin hinge. The bow is wide, flat and tapering. The upper bow is gently angled and is decorated with three longitudinal ridges. The outer two have been encroached upon by wear or damage. The brooch appears to be complete except for the shank of the pin. It probably dates to between c43 and c150 AD. The length is 44mm, width 20mm, thickness 16mm, and the weight 7.54g.

Roman or Romano Brtish copper alloy trumpet headed brooch Dating to between c75 and c175 AD. The brooch seems to be a Hattatt Group A as it has a single lug, but this example appears to have an integral head loop rather than a separate wire one. The head has no wings and in plan is a sub oval. The upper edge has what appears to be a solid lug. On the reverse of the head there is a single vertical sub-oval integral lug with a circular perforation for the pin. The axis bar, spring, chord and pin are missing. There is a double stepped horizontal lined motif running around the exterior circumference under the rim. It has a fine grained oxidised orange fabric that can be scratched with a fingernail. The length is 57mm, the width is 40mm, the thickness 7mm and the weight is 16.06g.

A complete cast copper-alloy hollow sword pommel (or large knife/dagger) of probable Medieval or possible Roman date. Oval in plan and flattened oval in section, with a central hole for the tang of the weapon. On one face the opening of the perforation is circular and has a diameter of 8mm. On the opposite face the opening is a patially rounded square and has a length and width originally of 5mm. It is circular in plan, flaring at one end with a flat face and the remains of a copper alloy shaft of circular plan in the centre. The sides (or faces) are flat and bear numeric values which appear to have been gouged rather than stamped or drilled.
