Obverse inscription is IMP CARAVSIVS P F AVG; Radiate, draped and cuirassed right. Mint of London, F O//ML. RIC V, pt 2, p. 472, no. 101. The diameter is 23mm, and the weight is 4.2g. A copper alloy radiate of Allectus dating to the period AD 293 to 296 (Reece Period 14). Reverse type LAETITIA AVG, Galley right with mast, no cabin and probably 6 rowers; no waves. It does appear that the sixth rower is a person, rather than a small cabin (which is not normal for this type in any case). C Mint, QC. The obverse inscription is IMP C ALLECTVS P F AVG. Cf. RIC V, pt 2, p. 569, no. 124. The diameter is 19mm, and the weight is 2.76g. This coin is included in Sam Moorhead's corpus for RIC.
