Roman copper alloy bow and fantail brooch (Collingwood Group X). Very similar to Hattatt's Visual Catalogue type 816 (fig 174, page 315). The suspension loop is intact as is the bow. The brooch is missing its hinged pin, the lip of the catch plate, and the enamel infill from the fan. Dates to between c50 and c150 AD.
The length is 40mm, the width is 16mm, the thickness 10mm, and the weight is 5.88g.

Roman or Romano British vessel rim sherd which is a samian ware copy dating to between c43 and c410 AD. There is a double stepped horizontal lined motif running around the exterior circumference under the rim. It has a fine grained oxidised orange fabric that can be scratched with a fingernail.
The length is 57mm, the width is 40mm, the thickness 7mm and the weight is 16.06g.
