Sheet copper alloy Late Roman flat-bladed nail-cleaner with varying decoration in the form of a fish in plan. On the upper face of the cleaner there are three lines of parallel punched ring and dot decoration and two ring and dot punches for the eyes around the grooved mouth which acts as the point of the cleaner. The tail end has a circular loop which would have been used to suspend the cleaner, as part of a toiletry set, from the wearer's belt. Incomplete cast copper alloy penannular ring or armlet in the form of a snake, but missing its head, decorated with oblique grooves, emulating scales, along the top of the body. The ends of the terminals are missing, and there are concave facets at each end which suggests that there may have been some material mounted between them or in each terminal. The hoop is oval in section with a slightly flattened inner edge.
